Confessions of an Onsite mind...

ONSITE one of the hottest buzz words in software industry today..Everything revolves around this word which has become the sole aim,ambition,purpose of a software engineer.Currently i am at Onsite in Toronto ,Canada.Never had dreamt in wildest of my dreams that i would be landing up in this beautiful country...Software industry surely has thrown up lots of opportunities which need to be grasped enduring cut -throat competition from your counterparts..World also now takes notice of Indian brains resulting in heavy outsourcing of work from developed countries like US etc.. So on night of April 2ND my dreams came true when i flew to Canada having struck jackpot read Onsite :)..Journey was so comfortable and i got first hand experience of international flights.Stop was at Brussels ..Only thing i knew about Brussels is that it is capital of Belgium while mugging up countries and capitals in my school..:)We again flew from Brussels to Toronto..This entire journey is 18 hrs ..though you would lose count of days and nights as you fly across time zones...One of those interesting geographical phenomenons which compels you to take notice of time again n again thereby making you adjust your cell phones and watches.Finally i reached Toronto.

Toronto is one of the well known cities on demographic face of world today..It hosts a lot of international events in terms of business, banking,fashion,movies etc.With its downtown cutting through sky with sky scrappers , hosts of multinational companies having placed their offices in those sky scrappers.Niagara falls one of the top ten most visited places on earth , CN Towers one of the top ten architectural wonders , Calgary stampede the largest open marketplace in world etc. land of maple leaf Canada surely stands tall in world today.

Work at onsite is pressure prone with abundance of learning experiences in terms of handling mental pressure , sticking to rigorous discipline and on time delivery . I will not delve into work topic..as it may be ethically wrong to put all those in public blogs......Earning in dollars is the prime lucrative offer behind all onsite oppurtunities...:)...It gives you happiness when you are able to save more money than when you were in India....One thing you find here is frequent comparisons with India in terms of government , shopping, prices , etc... etc... :)

Life at onsite is good for him who is a die -hard traveller who loves going around places , a family man happily settled down abroad with his wife and kids and 90% of his life's purpose is wife and kids....,a money monger who can go to any extent for earning money , an enthusiast who takes passion in learning different cultures,people and languages,young guys n gals who are in a big group enjoying every moment of life with their thrifty savings, an ambitious man who wants to save as much as possible to return to India with dreams of a happy life with lots of savings...

Amidst all this happy pictures of money , new place and success if you feel that you want to make it big by settling down abroad then pat yourself ,you are going to be damn successful and if you have the slightest tinge of returning back to homeland then tell yourself you are a emotional fool or may be a patriotic buffoon but a ... Better Human Being...:)
